The sculptures affirm the inherent plasticity of clay as a material and are reminiscent of the power of Bozzetti, in which artists from the Renaissance onwards were able to give direct expression to their innermost creative ideas. With Dissolution (2018–2020), Wurm sets out to search for a creative process that cannot be ultimately controlled.
